I hired Lucas at the start of 2016 to complete a loft extension, after seeing how good a job he had done on my neighbours loft extension, directly opposite my house. The extension was hip to gable (as it was end of terrace), with one large bedroom and bathroom.

Lucas was extremely knowledgable about all aspects of building, and particularly with regard to loft extensions and their associated building regulations.

I found Lucas to be exceptionally professional for the duration of the build, which took about 8 weeks in total. He answered calls at all times of the day, returns calls when he misses them and replies to emails swiftly.

The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. The materials used and the expertise of the carpenters, plumbers and other builders was seriously impressive. Lucas works long hours and expects his workmen to do likewise, starting at before 7am and working until gone 5.30pm. No long tea breaks, shouting or swearing to annoy the neighbours.

Lucas was a constant source of inspiration, suggesting good use of space, and very nice finishes to bathroom, hallways, etc.

Lucas is trustworthy, honest, courteous, hardworking and extremely knowledgable. I was thoroughly impressed with the finished build, which included high quality spray painting, beautiful smooth rendering to the side of the house and a very nice new tiled roof.

I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Lucas to others. He is a brilliant builder. In fact I have lined him up for a large rear extension, when the time is right.
